| The programs come bound in paperback or binders. Binders are useful for three important reasons, all surrounding the fact that we want the book itself to be a useful tool. | |
| 1. | If you pull out a book in front of a JW or a Mormon they will refuse (by directive of their organization) to read it. With this format, you may simply remove the cover of the book, and return to your meeting with a very non-threatening white binder. |
| 2. | The "Publications" section of each book contains photocopies of actual documents published by either organization. We want to encourage you to show these to your doorstep missionary. This is easy to do in a "removable" format such as this. |
| 3. | In the Dialogues section we give you ideas of how you may want to arrange your information. This format allows you to do that quite easily. |

Informational Section
The first section of either book is arranged by topic to follow the lessons on the accompanying CD. While you may read it as you would any other book, the CD is audio from a class taught at a Christian church and may include additional commentary to help enhance various points. We focus on essential doctrines of both organizations to investigate, in depth, whether they are true or false. Battling the Watchtower includes topics such as: Peripheral Theology, History, A Study of The Watchtower (False Prophecies), Jesus (Who He Is and Who He Isn't), Is the Watchtower the Faithful and Discreet Slave of Matthew 24?, The Death and Resurrection of Jesus, The Holy Spirit, The Trinity and Salvation. Solving the Mormon Puzzle includes topics such as Doctrinal Overview, History (what they'll tell you and what they won't), Evaluating Truth, Joseph Smith's Prophetic Record, The Mormon Doctrine of God, The Book of Mormon, Completing the Mormon Scriptures, Comparing the Mormon Scriptures, The Fifth Standard Work (the words of the living prophet), The Unmentioned Side of Mormonism. (Yeah, we know the Mormon book is longer, but they had a 50 year head-start in messing up!) Once you finish, you will know significantly more about either organization than the average member! |
