Scott Peterson is the Founder and Director of Defending Your Doorstep Ministries, a Christian outreach ministry devoted to training Christians how to defend their faith in general and specifically against the claims of Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons.  "The average Christian shares their faith with a non-Christian about once a year," Scott noted.  "It's the goal of the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society and the Mormon Church to have our homes visited twice a year by their missionaries.  Since they travel in pairs, that means that in any given year there could be as many as 8 lost people knocking on a Christians front door!  That is a mission field that we need to reach!"

Scott has been involved in counter-cult ministries and apologetics since 1994 and has been a guest speaker at churches, seminaries and on the radio and is a substitute host on the nationally-syndicated Bob Dutko Defending The Truth Radio Show.  Scott is also concluding his Masters Degree in Theology with a specialization in apologetics at Moody Theological Seminary with an expected graduation date of May 2010.
