Defending Your Doorstep Ministries and all representatives must and do subscribe to the following affirmations:

• We believe in a single, triune God that has revealed Himself in three distinct persons, namely the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit.
• We believe that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary who was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit at the incarnation.  Jesus is fully man and fully God.
• We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, dead and buried and on the third day was physically raised from the dead, appearing to his disciples and over 500 other witnesses. 
• We believe that man may be saved from sin only by complete trust in Jesus’ sacrifice as payment for his debt.  We do not believe man contributes to his salvation other than by the work of “believing in the one who He has sent” (John 6:28-29). 
• We believe that the Holy Spirit is, in fact, a person and is God as well – the third person of the Trinity.
• We believe the Bible of 66 books, to be the infallible word of God, and that God inspired human writers to record His message in their own words and styles.
• Inasmuch as the Bible is the word of God, we turn to it as the final arbiter of truth in all matters, doctrine, theology or otherwise.

 We hold others matters as “non-essentials” and therefore open to interpretation, so long as the position is supported and consistent with the Scriptures.

• Interpretations of the Lord’s Supper
• The meaning or appropriate timing of baptism
• Gifts of the Holy Spirit
